Using Maths Whizz

Using Maths Whizz is the BEST ever Maths Site I have been to. Maths Whizz is the only Maths Site that I love to use. There is no other place than Maths Whizz!!!

Our VERY NOISY CLASSES!!!!!!!

Our class has been joined together. Rooms 16, 17 and 18. These classes are mostly classes that have year 6's in it. Since we've joined It sounds like JUNGLE with all the noise. If only this was a humble and quiet Class.

Huge Tornado in America ( Texas)

These past few months and weeks many many bad things have been happening. Like the Thunder last night and Tornados that had hit Texas and the Manukau Habour. That is VERY VERY Sad to those places that have been having Horrible Weather.

Mr Burt told us that an “ ANONYMOUS”  person was coming. We got into the hall and waited. And as we waited he walked in. 

It was the Official WILL.I.AM!!! Coming to our school to give The Manaiakalani Education Trust  a $100, 000 Donation. We never knew what was going to happen. Do you know the Black Eyed Peas? WILL.I.AM. is from the Black Eyed Peas.

I was shaking and shivering with nerves as he walked past. WILL.I.AM was the only FAMOUS SINGER that I have ever met. You are probably wondering WHY he came? Well as Mr Burt said “ You Never Know When Someone is Watching”  Well that someone was WILL.I.AM.   

He had checked many peoples Blogs, Podcasts and maybe our Class Sites. He gave this to us because he had found out how we learn, create and share our work.   Not many of us were expecting to see Will.I.AM.

Using Xtramath

Using Xtramath is the best way to show your learning with Maths. Xtramath is developed in levels. Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. Here is a pic of where I am up to on Xtramath.  Multiplication.

My Birthday Tomorrow!!

Today is the 8th of May. My Birthday is going to be tomorrow which is the 9th of May. I am going to be very EXCITED. I'm not expecting anything but really excited to turn 11 years old. Hope you could leave some feedback.

I have learnt today that in the Antarctic Ocean it gets warmer and warmer the deeper you go. I also found out that on the bottom of the Antarctic Ocean there is a coral living and growing there.

This Afternoon I have been learning how to take core samples. We took samples from a cupcake. Our Class done this in our class rotations. This is my Result that I got.
