( Me and Jordenne's Narrative) The Dumb explorer who meets Beyonce.

Once there was a man named Pete. He was an explorer, he was a dumb explorer that had been exploring the forest for YEARS and YEARS. While he was traveling, he suddenly heard music playing out of nowhere. Pete felt happy and started dancing. He hadn’t noticed that voice before.

He tracked the music by his ears. Then he found so many Monkeys dancing. Pete started laughing at them because he said they were no good. Then Pete started showing them how to dance.

He stopped dancing, and saw so many paths, he wanted to go to all of them but he knew there was only one way to go to where the music is coming from.  But then stupidly he went to the path on the left and came back with ripped clothes.

He went to the other path on right and came back with bare feet. Everywhere he went it was Dangerous.

Finally he had the chance to walk through the path in the middle that didn’t look bad at all. Walking with damaged body parts Pete started dancing even more and FINALLY saw Beyonce!!! He smelled with shock and also Danced very HARD with her too.

My Blog

Since I've been a year 4 I have had my own personal Blog. A blog is a place where you could share things with the world. Having a Blog is the most coolest part about school. You could tell your family about and even your parents could check it out.

3. Furiously, the nervous swimmers paddled across the pool.

2. Loudly the   talented instructor shouted at us,  “kick faster”.

3. Nervous swimmers swam furiously, while paddling  across the pool.

We made these trees to demonstrate what it means to be a great learner. I chose the word Participates because I think I'll participate in a sport.

Nebook Reflection

I like to go on my net book because when we get to write and there a mistakes we get to undo it. Another thing was when we are writing we get to share with the world on our blogs.

This year I have really enjoyed having a Netbook to work on because we can do anything like write our writing on a google doc. And also we can check our site to see what we are going to do on our timetable.



As much as I have loved having a Netbook there are some things that I haven’t liked. When we are writing it is always tries to reach Google and it is annoying. When we are trying to connect with Google and it does not connect we have to re connet with Wairehe.



The big difference from pencil and paper last year to this year there a huge differences.One of them are like when we are writing on paper and pen we strugle to rub out with a rubber. Because makes a mess.

The hardest thing is when we are on our Netbooks it is so distracting that we always want to go on games or anything else.The greatest challenge for me was every week on Fridays our class room 13 gets to have free time that means we get to do any thing but not go on youtube or anything else that’s not appropriate. I think that I am not Cyber Smart cause going on our
Netbooks can be distracting.


If the Netbook Scheme failed and I would never give up and still write with pen and paper.I think that would be a very sad thing to do. It would be very different without a Netbook because it is so much easier to write with.

Cross Country

Guess What our school did yesterday?
We did Cross Country.

the parents came to school they were cheering us off, also as the teachers were too,when we were walking to the start line I felt scared that I needed to go to the toilet .

I was so excited that I said to Aldora " I am so nervous and scared that my legs were shaking when we walked to the start line. As Mr Burt said“ on your marks
get set Go I tried my hardest to get to the end, when we were walking to the start line I felt scared but I still tried to get to the end, when I was running lots of teachers and students were supporting us. I could see people rushing to the finish line. I thought this was never going to end.

I was half way there I saw lots of my sister and brothers friends, as I was jogging to the finish line my legs and arms were flailing,I really did not want to do cross country but still tried my hardest to get to the end as I was running to the I saw lots of students running past me I was so exhausted that my legs were shaking.

Finally cross country was over I ran to the end and everyone was cheering me off “that was so hard “I said to Mary! “FINALLY!!!!!” I yelled.

Letter for Albany (North Shore)

Dear North Shore Albany,
I would like to say sorry for the horrible tornado that hit you guys I hope that you are safe and calm,keep on trusting. Hope you are all ok and are always going to be safe and calm for the second time , I am also sorry for the tornado that destroyed your homes and destroyed your families houses too.

Tornado North Shore Albany

Yesterday there was a huge tornado that hit Albany in North Shore, it happened in the Afternoon. It was a adverse event yesterday, the tornado twisted and kept on moving towards the building, on the pictures I saw a trampoline that had caught by the tornado and the trampoline flied to on top of a roof , It was a massive chaos. The reason why it happened is because of the warm air in the ground and the cold air on top and then the cold air catches the warm air then it catches each other then it goes round and round then it it turns into a tornado. I heard that the tornado had killed 1 person.

The Tornado is so powerful that it had destroyed a lot of building’s, so lucky that it had not killed more than one person. the damage was so so serious that it had flipped car’s over.

Meteor

A huge meteor exploded over Auckland and as far south as Wellington, it was described as the size of a desk. The bright flashing light was booming in the dark sky. The Sonic Boom was heard in Raglan.
