Tearing walls ripping down

The smell of mold goes round and round

The taste of black Licorice  makes everything vicious

Windy sounds come rushing through in different areas of the room

From wall to wall the smell gets stronger

Inside and outside no smell of delight

Trapped all alone and nowhere to go     

But no need to stress it's just a big mess

Walking through the door

we notice the ripped walls

molded roofs

with rats crawling through

 

and cockroaches

crawling round and round         

As I arrived in the room I looked down.

And I see Paint falling off the roof and I start to drown

I could smell a Musty smell on the wall.

Than I start feeling small.

When I looked around I can hear the Mouse's footsteps running on the roof.

But I wish it would be soundproof

As I drew the Curtains then I feel goosebumps coming up my arm

As I walk around the room I have this kind of dry taste in my mouth like I want to spew it out.

The room starts to rumble

 The ceiling began to crumble

Smelling mold

I start to get a cold

Everything’s broken

And it can’t be spoken

Disgusting floors

Covered in paint

Broken draws

I wanted to faint

What is a Theme?

Here is a presentation that my friend Mao and I have created on describing what a theme is. This presentation can teach a kid younger that doesn't know what a Theme is. You can make a copy of this presentation to answer the questions that we have put in. Also remember to leave feedback on how we did with this presentation.

In our literacy class we are learning to use a graphic organiser to help with our reading. In my group we were reading the article Fair Chocolate.   

Summarizing Whats For lunch

Whats for Lunch? The Book that we are reading this week was about a boy named Alex and the type of food that he needed to eat. It first started when Tina had noticed that Alex had brought a Nutty Bar to school everyday of the week. Mr Kenna had suggested that Alex should bring A LOT more fruits and Veggies to school. Mr Kenna had pinned up a poster with a pyramid full of Food. At the top of the pyramid had Junk food, in the middle of the had oily fat food and at the bottom of course was Healthy Food. After that Mr kenna had given Alex a chart of what types of food the girls and the boys should eat. And currently the boys chart was healthier. After that Rangi had suggested to share his Lunch with Alex. So by then Alex had started eating healthier.

1. There is no air in space

2.  Space is never noisy

3.  Vibrations can travel through solid things as well as air.

Why can’t we hear sound in space?

Because there is nothing for vibrations to travel through.

The data was stored on an old-fashioned tape recorder.

What does deep space sound like?

The sound of it sounds like Dawn Chorus of birds singing in spring from super bass.

What does the plasma wave detector detect? How do they turn this into sound?

It senses waves of electrons. Play the data through a loudspeaker and listen!

No and because its all for free!

4. When was the internet created? What was it’s main purpose at the time?

It was created in 1969! They developed the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (arparnets), four large computers that could exchange information.

Summary Article

We were reading a book about a little Boy named Dylan, which was born deaf. The first implant was funded by the Health System in June 2011 .Dylan’s parents tried really hard to raise $50,000 to pay for his second cochlea implant which was done in September 2012. Dylan’s parents are now able to pay more attention their son. Dylan’s hearing really improved and his speech and development. The government will now pay for two cochlear implants for children under six years old starting in July.

The Tortoise: Can’t Fly, had its house on his back, wanted to see the World.

The Ducks: Helpful. good Friends.

Setting (Where is the story set. Describe the place in detail):

Near a pond in a Creek.

What was the problem?

Well the problem was that the Tortoise didn’t get to see the World.

What was the solution?

Then along came Ducks and said that they could fly him to see the Countryside.

What was the Moral of the Story? Don't be Vanity

My I can Animate

During Class time we have been doing reading and during reading I like to do I can Animate. I can Animate is a programme where you can take pictures and move it every time its a stop motion. This I can Animate was made by me and my friend Iron and Mao. It is representing our school Point England on the East of Auckland, Glen Innes.
