Our Ugly Classroom

Walking into our class there were so many colours. This morning Room 13 took down everything that was on the wall. “ What a Disaster” Taking the colourful fabric off the wall, it looked very ugly, because we started to see the colours Brown and black. We took this off so the builders can put new ones on top.

 “YAY we are nearly done taking off all these fabric” I said to myself. This needed lots of work, that had to be done. Cleaning tables, and Cupboards made me tired really fast.

 Cleaning the cupboards was really cool, because we did lots of things that was hard for us to do.Like we had to get a chair and reach for the things that were high. It was really scary because I nearly fell.

My Reflection For Term 2

What did I enjoy?
The thing that I enjoyed this term was painting our flowers.

Things I didn’t like
The one thing that made my art difficult was drawing abstract art.

What did I learn?
What I learnt this term was about Kandinsky and his life.

How do I feel about my term overall?
Overall this term I feel amazed, because we have learned so many things about art and learning to overlap my shapes.

What did I find interesting?
What I found interesting was learning things about art.

What could I have done better to help my learning?
What I could have done better was to have learnt my Maths. What I improved was learning my tables my 3 times tables.

PES Art Gallery

Walking into the hall, filled with excitement I searched for my little cousin’s art. Looking left then right, I saw Room 7’s art. “Wow!” I yelled,there it was my little cousin’s art. Flowers everywhere it made me so amazed.

Slowly walking to our classes art I looked up and down for my art. “ Aww where is my art” I said to myself. There it was with  big huge tree, a lovely art, the cross that represents me that I go to church and last but not least the Tongan flag that represents my culture Tonga.

Overall the coolest thing that I loved inside the hall was the lights and the music. Looking everywhere Miss King yelled “ Room 13 it’s time to go” Walking to Miss King we walked slow out of the hall.

This was the best Point England Art Gallery that I have been to. These were a variety of styles like Kandinsky, Vincent Van gogh, Jackson Pollock and more.

Our Trip To Youthtown Reflection

Entering Youthtown, our class walked quickly and quietly to the little room. Listening to instructions Room 17 , Jordenne, Iron and I quickly grabbed our bags and headed off to the pools. This was one the activities we did.

Walking out of the changing rooms I walked slowly into the pools and started to do tricks.
“Lets play tiggy” Tawara Said.
Swimming out of the lane and into the lane I was in. There was 1 minute left to get changed, I got out and was ready for table tennis and morning tea.

Clay was coming up and my group was so excited. getting into our seats two 
kind women introduced themselves to us. Their names were Sue and Jorja. The thing that I liked about Youthtown was making clay. Making clay was a great activity that we did.

The thing that I was making during clay was a bowl that had a pattern inside of it. Finishing off with gluing the sides of my bowl I got ready to decorate it. “ Finished!! I yelled.
"Okay can you clean the table when you have finished” Said Miss Garden.

Walking out of Youthtown, I said “ Bye”.
So many of us were tired in the bus. Sadly we had to go back to school, but I had fun at Youthtown.

Our Rugby Game Against Viscount

Running across the field, many of us quickly got ready and said our cheers for the start. The whistle goes “ Run on!!” Yelled Miss Vaafusuaga. Kicking the ball to the opposition team Hope quickly chased the ball. Sadly Viscount catches it. Many supporters from our school yelled " GO PT ENGLAND GET A TRY!! Luckily there was a throw in and we got it. 10 points to 5. Again The whistle blows again " YAY!! Yelled Our Team.


Waiting to get on the field lots of us trained quickly. " Come on now!! Yelled Mr Jacobsen. While I ran onto the field I quickly got into my position PROP and waited for the kick off. Watching it go by, my friend Jordenne chased it. Catching the ball we all quickly spreaded out and let her pass it to one of us.


Trying to chase her we watched her get a runaway. The score was 18 10 " Yea! Our team yelled. Walking back to the line we waited for our kicker to kick it in sadly it didn't go in. Last whistle blows for the team that gets the last try and we got it we won!! Running off the field we cheered to our supporters and the opposition team and said " Good game"


That was a great game that we had I cant wait for our next rugby game. Lucky it was the boys turn to play. " Good Luck" We yelled.

Snow Day In Christchurch

Snowflakes drifting downwards to the ground.  Lightly snow fell on the roof. Snow sprinkled over the ground and settled onto treetops.

Whiteness filled everywhere.  Many roads had been closed, schools were over for the day.
Police urged people to exercise caution as they were driving.

My Art work Reflection

Starting off on a Friday I tried my hardest  to finish my art work.
These were my goals to achieve: Carefully listening to all instructions,Using Clear Bold lines,Different colours next to each other, and my last goal was to blend the colours in.  Painting shapes and lines I quickly checked if the colour that I was using was right, and luckily it was.


Checking to see if  I was halfway finished I said to myself “ This is good” The thing that I would do well next time is to listen to instructions carefully and blend colours more. What I enjoyed was painting and drawing shapes and colour in different places. The one thing that was hard was blending the colours pink and purple.            

When Piggaso met Mootisse

Pigasso and Motice look like this way  because they paint themselves in different ways,  like a mess. Pigasso uses color that look like mud, he uses that color because he is a pig he likes to play in the mud. As Motice and Pigasso met,  they both got together and became friends.     

Kandinsky Composition IV

Composition IV is a mixed of swirling  soaring lines.


The painting is divided strongly  with two black vertical lines. On the left violent motions, because it has jagged and sharp and tangled lines. On the right is all is expressed with sweeping forms, calm harmonies.   



Dividing lines three red hatted cossacks. Stand by holding their black swords by the  Blue Mountain above a castle.Next to them a  third white bearded cossack stand by with his purple sord.



Lower on the left two boats are depicted and a rainbow. Above them are two horseback   cossack in battle. In the right two people lie on a hill and 2 priests watch by.

A Invitation for a young Spider Monkey

I have to write a birthday party invitation for a young spider monkey who ignores orchestras.

This a Birth day party invitation is to a young spider monkey that's name is Bluebell who ignores  orchestras.

Dear Bluebell,

This invitation is for you because you ignore the same things that I ignore orchestras. And that is boring. You are invited and your friends are to. Please don't bring lots of Spider Monkeys to the party because they might make a mess. So please try to come.

A Story About The Worst singer in The world!!

On one sunny day an awkward movie star entered a singing competition.  As she started practising she thought she was good. Here  was the day filled with confidence walking onto the stage the host called out her name Lilly May .

As she got  onto the stage the judges asked her some questions. “ How old are you?” Asked the judge. She Replied “ I am fourteen years old” “ Wow!! you look eighteen now start singing” Said Judge two.  

Singing a solo four of the judges waited till the end. As she finished singing she saw the judges with their of their ears closed. “ Can you stop singing now?” Said the Judges. “ NEXT!!” They all yelled.

After two weeks later she came back to the auditions and yelled “ Can I try again”. Then all the judges huddled up and voted if she could  or went home and she got another chance. “ YEAAAAAHHHHH!!!!” She yelled. Breathing in and out she ran onto the stage and said “ I am ready” As the music started she got into position and started to sing. “ Better Better” Said the Judges “ You are in great” “ YES YES YES” She yelled.    

Waiting for the Next week to come she made it in the finalists. This was her time to shine. “ Breath in and then out” Said her tutor. Running through the stage doors then up the stairs she quickly grabbed the Microphone and sang the worst song ever. Everybody started laughing then she sang more and more, then she was embarrassed and ran to the back stage. But more people laughed.
She ran out the stadium and  called a taxi. Calling her mum to come she said that she wanted to go home. Her Mum asked her why was she crying she never answered then she cried more. But lucky she still got to be a movie star. That’s why people laughed so that she quits singing and go back to acting.

Our Multiplication Activity
