This Term I have been Drawing for Competition that Miss Ouano has held. I have drew this picture to enter her competition. This is all I have done. We were meant to draw a Penguin, Fairy and a Pirate. Hope I WIN!!!

Mr Burt told us that an “ ANONYMOUS”  person was coming. We got into the hall and waited. And as we waited he walked in. 

It was the Official WILL.I.AM!!! Coming to our school to give The Manaiakalani Education Trust  a $100, 000 Donation. We never knew what was going to happen. Do you know the Black Eyed Peas? WILL.I.AM. is from the Black Eyed Peas.

I was shaking and shivering with nerves as he walked past. WILL.I.AM was the only FAMOUS SINGER that I have ever met. You are probably wondering WHY he came? Well as Mr Burt said “ You Never Know When Someone is Watching”  Well that someone was WILL.I.AM.   

He had checked many peoples Blogs, Podcasts and maybe our Class Sites. He gave this to us because he had found out how we learn, create and share our work.   Not many of us were expecting to see Will.I.AM.

Something Dissappearing

That is so weird that everything that I see suddenly disappears, just like my very own shoes. “ AHH” Thinking in my head. I had always got in big trouble by my Mum in the mornings, while looking everywhere for it. It was one of my FAVORITE shoes ever and only costed $15.50.  Suddenly I ran to the last place I had been with it and it was not there.

My Mum had growled me for this and told me to go to school without any shoes. It was weird really, then when I got to school everybody started to tease me and even I ran home with embarrassment.  As I got home my Mum asked me “ Why are you still here? And by surprise I couldn’t even answer so then I ran up stairs to my room and started crying.

I looked everywhere and I even tried to put up signs if anyone who could find out where it was or where  another pair of it is.  By then I started to sleep and all I could think of was my shoes and how I had always wore it  EVERYWHERE!! The last time I had it was when we had Athletics and how I took it off and left it on the field.

Rushing out of my bed I had just realised that it might have been at the Lost Property. As I got there it wasn’t there so then I ran back home. I started thinking  and by then I had finally looked in my bag and and it was there so then, every thing that had disappeared was just an imagination in my head. I think I wasn’t thinking very well . So  I told my Mum that is was in my bag the whole time, and looking at her face she had a BIG SMILE!!!

Testing Omaru Creek

As part of studying Omaru Creek. Each of our Literacy Classes walked down to the Creek and tested out the Smell, Colour and the Turbidity of parts of the Lake. First we tested out the Smell and most of the parts we had smelt was a lot better from the day before just like the Colour and the Turbidity.

We had tested different parts of the stream and came with different results. There are parts like the Culvert, Near the Bridge and even in the middle of the lake. First we tested the colour from these parts and it had looked like the stream and been splitted into thirds.

It had different types of colours like from in the middle of the lake it was grey and near the Bridge it was green and by the Culvert it was clear ish.  Next we tested out the smell and all the parts that we tested all smelt the same. So I thought maybe it is only the colour of the stream is the problem.

The first time we had tested out the Colour Turbidity and the smell it was very DISGUSTING. I hope you will make a Creek or even beach look better just like Omaru Creek.

Year 5 and 6 CAMP!

" CAMP CAMP CAMP" Last year I had an amazing experience at camp, when I was a year 5. But now I am in year 6 and is in a group called  " True Crew" One of our first activities were Top Town which was so COOL.

What I really enjoyed was all of the activities even like, Kayaking, Top Town, Swimming and having our concert practice which is today. Getting together was the best part ever when we got to watch the most funniest movie ever, which was Mr Poppers Penguin.  All of us had laughed about all the Funny moments, but me and my friends got so tired so fast.

Camping was so cool I cant wait till tomorrow because the best part is that we get to go to the Mangere Pools. COOL RIGHT!!!!!! Have you ever been to Camp?

My Narrative Pirate Story About Me

Everything had started on a wonderful day at sea, where everybody started their wars against us. I had always tried to make  the wars end but it never happened.  Why do these war start?  I asked myself.  Or maybe they  just want to steal our GOLD.

Everybody from different ships had always tried to steal my GOLD but they couldn't even ask kindly. I would always say to them if they could stop the wars first then we would always share with them. But the only reason I wouldn't share was because my Pirate friends tried to be so selfish and kept it all to themselves .

They had always tried to kick me off my ship but my crew was too strong which stopped them. I could have given them my Gold or I would have shared my hoard of Lollipops with them.

It was too dangerous on this ship so I had created a ship on my own that had kind friends, unselfish people and would always have fun. I was the only one on this ship but it was a lot better with no wars and less selfishness.

Why would you think I would call myself Sela the kindest Pirate ever? Well it is because I wanted to be a little bit different from the others, like a bit kinder, ALWAYS had showers and LOVED having fun. What made me behave like this was because I had always watched people on shore having fun times and I wanted to join in. After a while even more people joined me on the ship, and now our ship is called “ THE FRIENDLY SHIP”.    

One of my friends Hannah (MISSY) Had wanted to Start a conversation about what she wanted to be or how she would want to behave. “What would you want to be if you get onto shore?” Missy asked me. “ Well what I really want to be is to become an Actor when I grow up or else become an Professional Blogger” I replied. “ Oh what I really want to be is a Captain for this ship” Missy replied “ Okay its alright you can be it” I squeaked.

As it went on all what we wanted to happen HAPPENED.
