SPORTY, I LOVE sports its really my thing. I love playing rugby mostly.

EXCITED, I’m usually excited for everything I do.

LIKABLE, I like liking things that other people probably don't. Like Rugby!!

ANNOYING, I’m the annoying one in the family. Talking a lot and even doing weird things aha.

WEIRD, I’m the weird/Funny one out of my friends.

How to Play Rugby

Rugby!! Ahh. Last Week 18  girls had the opportunity to play Rugby against Koru School. How do you play Rugby? Not Netball, not League Rugby. Rugby is a winter sport that is played a lot.

In Rugby on a field there are 15 people on a field for Union. There is the Hooker, two Props,  Halfback, Fullback, Wings, Flanker, Second Rower, Centre, First 5, Lock and Second 5.

How to Pass a Ball : In Rugby passing a ball is quite easy but the only thing you can’t do is to pass it forward. Which is called a (Forward Pass) You can also Intercept as the opposition passes the ball, and start running.

In  rugby the most points you get are from your tries you have scored. When you score a try you get 5 points for your team.  The best and most common way of winning is scoring tries.  

So guys Keep playing Rugby become a future All Black.

My Brother Made It Into The Auckland Team YAY!!!!

I have been waiting for this moment to come. Did you know that My older Brother had made it into the Auckland under 16 team. My brother had just came from Mt Wellington and had made into the Auckland team. This is one of the Most COOLEST thing that has happened in Rugby for my family.

Rugby League is one of the most Greatest talent that Runs in the Family. I have been wanting to play Rugby League since I was little. But my mother sad that something Bad might happen. 

The Auckland under 16 team had Won their first game Last Week on Saturday. The game was held at the Mt Albert Stadium. This was my brothers VErY FIRST time being in the Auckland team. It was so good to see a team Win!!! He is also from a College called " St Pauls or they may call it  Sangata Paulo" Which is in Ponsinby Right here in Auckland New Zealand.

Going to Rugby Games

Since it is a  Saturday Rugby games are always held. This time I was at my Cousin and Brother's Rugby Games. There were so man missed Tackles and also they had always Started Fights. `In Rugby Games this kind of thing always happen. Tackles, enjuries and Fights.

But at the end my brother's teams had lost. But Luckily my cousin had WON!! YAY!!

Our Rugby Game Against Viscount

Running across the field, many of us quickly got ready and said our cheers for the start. The whistle goes “ Run on!!” Yelled Miss Vaafusuaga. Kicking the ball to the opposition team Hope quickly chased the ball. Sadly Viscount catches it. Many supporters from our school yelled " GO PT ENGLAND GET A TRY!! Luckily there was a throw in and we got it. 10 points to 5. Again The whistle blows again " YAY!! Yelled Our Team.


Waiting to get on the field lots of us trained quickly. " Come on now!! Yelled Mr Jacobsen. While I ran onto the field I quickly got into my position PROP and waited for the kick off. Watching it go by, my friend Jordenne chased it. Catching the ball we all quickly spreaded out and let her pass it to one of us.


Trying to chase her we watched her get a runaway. The score was 18 10 " Yea! Our team yelled. Walking back to the line we waited for our kicker to kick it in sadly it didn't go in. Last whistle blows for the team that gets the last try and we got it we won!! Running off the field we cheered to our supporters and the opposition team and said " Good game"


That was a great game that we had I cant wait for our next rugby game. Lucky it was the boys turn to play. " Good Luck" We yelled.

Thinking Hats

YELLOW HAT: What Did I Enjoy? I enjoyed netball. Because we get to choose our position, My favorite position was center. Because I like to pass the ball to Goal De fence, Goal attack or Wing De fence.

Black Hat:Things I Didn't enjoy. I didn't enjoy AFL. Because every single time I do the hand pass it goes a different way I wanted it to go straight.

White Hat: What did I learn? I learned fractions. Because I know what is a 1/2 , 1/3 , 1/4 also and a 1/5, do you know what's a fraction?

RED HAT: How do you about my term overall? I feel amazing. Because I loved doing sports skills like Netball with Emma and Badminton with Donna.

GREEN HAT: What did I find most interesting? The most Interesting thing was reading, because I just love to read stories on this link Listening to stories.

BLUE HAT: what could I have done better to help my learning? I am going to learn more maths. Because I want to learn more fractions and adding up to the tens and hundreds.

How Rugby Started!!!

The game of football was played at rugby school and it caused major injury's,
handling the ball was permitted, the game of football was not allowed to run with.

There were no fixed limit of players.
Any number of players on the field can play football. William ran with the ball and he started the game of rugby in 1823, In 1845 by then the rules were written for the game of rugby.

My Brothers Rugby game !! ( In the weekends)

I yelled " go Tamaki College and my mum said to my elder brother go go team I know you can do this so keep up the great team work T C that is short for Tamaki College. As I walked to the van my mum yelled to me " we got a try " but the other school was still winning. My brother had his first rugby game and he played for Tamaki College they had lost by 22 to 13 I was so excited to see my brother play rugby and it was my first time to see him get his first try. He tried hard to go to his next game at Elersilie Eagles that is a club a great club to play for. My big brother didn't
get time to go to hid next rugby game because it alredy started.
